Honda Odyssey: Intermediate Detail
A one and a half day detail to this metallic red Honda Odyssey. This isn't a full paintwork correction detail, but more to improving the overall condition of the car in the limited time given.

but this doesn't mean it cannot be improved!

Let's begin.
The car wasn't very dirty to start with, here are some before pictures.
The general condition of the paintwork,
Process for wheels, wheel wells and tires:
-Rinsed with pressure washer
-Wheel wells and tires cleaned with Osren Multi Clean(diluted 1:1)
-Wheel face and barrel with Meguiar's Wheel Brightener (diluted 3:1)
After washing the car with Presta Lubri-Sudzz shampoo, whole car is clayed with Detailogy clay using diluted Lubri-Sudzz as clay lube. This shampoo was so slippery that I had hard time holding the clay.
Process for the paintwork was:
Osren Perfect Cut 2.0 / 900-1500rpm / Meguiar's Polishing Pad
Presta Aurora 3000 Hand Glaze / 600rpm / Lake Country Black Finishing Pad
The Presta Hand Glaze is a very nice product indeed, easy off, and adds a 'wet look' to the paint. Great to use when perfect correction is not the objective of the detail.
Some general afters, I would say the swirls were about 60% corrected, 40% filled and 10% visible.
LSP of choice was Meguiar's new Gold Class Carnauba Plus wax. The paste wax is very soft and had some yellow coloured 'oil' on the surface when I first opened it.
Application was done by hand.
While waiting for the wax to haze over, I cleaned interior leather and plastics with Malco Leather & Plastic cleaner.

Carpets were pressure washed, shampooed with Presta Lubri-Sudzz, extracted with a Karcher wet/dry vac.
More after of the leather seats,
I then buffed off the wax and removed excess 'oil' residue on the surface with Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer.
Interior carpets and coil mats were sprayed with Osren Air Freshener.
Door jambs polished and sealed with Jeff's Werkstatt Prime:Acrylic to give a clean entry to the driver/passengers.

Tires dressed with Osren Tire Shine. Wheel well plastics with Meguiar's Hyper Dressing(diluted 4:1)
